Manufacturing – Quality Control
Intercon’s Quality Control department is equipped to conduct thorough inspection of all manufacturing processes. Procedures conform to MIL-I-45208A; gauges and inspection equipment are calibrated in accordance with MIL-STD-45662.
Intercon’s QC functions and NDT activity is audited every three years by a qualified outside organization to ensure conformance to MIL-I-45208A and NAVSEA TechPub T9074-AS-GIB-010/271. Intercon’s QC personnel hold the following qualifications:

Inspectors use the latest technology to ensure accurate results. Dimensional inspection is performed with the following tools:
- FARO Laser Tracker
- ID and OD Micrometers
- Optical Scopes
- Video Borescopes
The Quality Control department works closely with customers to define inspection requirements, techniques and timing prior to job initiation. Support is provided for on-site source inspections and QC and weld program audits as required by some customers.
