INTERCON began producing deck machinery in the 1960s as an outgrowth of our Towing Winch business. Intercon towing winch customers saw the value in operating heavy-duty equipment that was built to last the life of the vessel, not simply the life of the shipyard warranty period. Intercon produces mooring winches, windlasses, combination mooring winch/windlasses, vertical capstans, and combination vertical capstan/windlasses for customers who demand the best from every piece of equipment on board.
